While Big B and Abhishek were admitted in Nanavati Hospital last weekend, late night news on Friday stated that Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also been hospitalised in the same facility.

A few days back, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan had tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Ms Rai's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan, also major Bollywood celebrities, were admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital early this week, becoming the highest-profile patients of the pandemic sweeping India.

On Sunday, 77-year-old Amitabh Bachchan - a Bollywood superstar who has achieved global fame during his long and illustrious career so far - tweeted that he had tested positive for the virus.

In the picture, the blue eyed beauty was seen sharing a sweet kiss with Aaradhya as they struck a pose in Disneyland. They were quarantined at home since they were asymptomatic. "Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be in the hospital maybe for a day or two", a hospital source told PTI.

On Friday, Bachchan sent a note from inside the hospital thanking his fans for their best wishes during his treatment for coronavirus.

The other members of the family - Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and her kids Agastya and Navya Naveli - were tested negative for the virus. The actor's daughter Aaradhya, too, has been moved to the hospital. However, he has continued to engage with the public, sharing regular poems, prayers and messages of thanks on his Twitter.

In his latest tweet, he mentioned how he has been receiving good wishes and prayers on "all possible social media", adding that hospital "protocol" was "restrictive", so he couldn't say more.
